6570-070. Does not come with the power cord or Hose Barb 6540-171*
The Pump is complete with a US Motors. The only difference between the Factory Pump and ours is that ours comes with the original welded bracket on the motor instead of the bracket mount currently used by Sundance. Our pump replaces the original found in your spa that had the mounting bracket welded to it.
This can be used for other pumps by Sundance by simply adjusting the position of the wet end by loosening the 4 bolts (this is a thru bolt motor) and turning the wet end to the position of the original pump and then retightening the 4 bolts. We send the pump in the 6500-293 position which is in the 9:00 position.
Notes:
- We use only a Viton Seal on our Wet ends for long life. The viton seal is designed for harsh chemical environments such as salt, ozone and chemically treated water. These seals are more costly than a standard seal used by most of our competitors.
- Motor has internal capacitor and does not have the capacitor on the exterior of the motor.
- Does not come with power cord.
- * The 6540-171
Hose Barb is used on many of the Sundance/Jacuzzi Pumps (you would need
to verify) and was originally made of plastic which eventually fails.
Please note that the threads are NOT standard MPT threads and you cannot
use an over the counter hose barb (from a Hardware Store). If you do it
will strip the threads and cause leakage and ruin the Pump Housing (not
covered under warranty). See the Related Products below to purchase
this item.
